iTunes pricing...

Ok... so, first off... I hope you all had a great Monday (as great as Monday's can be... :)). Secondly, Jane in Australia was kind enough to let me know that my new EP has gone live in the Australian, New Zealand, and UK iTunes stores... priced at... $16.99, $17.99, and £7.99 respectively (for the full record)... which is nowhere NEAR as low as it's supposed to be... Yeah. Much as I'd like to THINK my songs are worth twice the normal rate... they are... in fact... not. :)

Seriously, guys, I'd requested you get a SIGNIFICANT price break (along with the bonus pdf artwork) for buying the full album (in the US, $3.99 total), and this pricing isn't even in the ballpark of what it's supposed to be. I'm sure it's an honest mistake, but it's upsetting me to think that some of you may:

a) think I would try to price gouge you like that, or
b) because of the high price, not consider buying the full EP

My designer, Kristina, put a lot of time and effort into the artwork (and did an outstanding job with it), and you can only get it if you buy the full EP. Given that it's my first new music in a long time, and of COURSE you want all the songs... (haha)... seriously, my hope is that if it's priced correctly, it'll just make sense to go the full monty. Buy the EP in entirety.

That said, I'm working with Tunecore on fixing the pricing, and that should be corrected in the next 24 hours. So, please... wait to buy the full ep instead of individual tracks. I promise it's worth the price.

Ok. Sleep tight, and seriously, thank you again for all your support. The love you sent my way after the update yesterday was overwhelming. So cool after such a long time being off the radar... You guys are amazing.

Gavin
